Lindsay Workman - 'Lin'

Bio:
SWM seeks fame and fortune by drawing funny! Lin was an artist and screen printer in the t-shirt industry for almost 20 years, and is currently a graphic artist designing monuments for West Stone Works in Memphis, TN. His artwork has appeared in "The Memphis Flyer", "Commercial Appeal", "Airbrush Action Magazine", "Amazing Figure Modeler", "Stargodz" (comic book with Conquest Studios), on Rock103 and The Outdoor Channel's websites, the MSCA (Mid-South Cartoonists Association comics "It Came From Beneath The Drawing Board" and "Over-Drawn And Under-Written"), and in author Christa Michael's first book- "Ramblings With Redde: Why Does My Life Seem Like A Bad "B" Flick?". He is 1/2 of Pencil Neck Studios with partner David Beaty, and are both currently working on the comic book series "Bushi Tales". Lin was the President of the MSCA (or ElPrez) for over four years, but is feeling much better now as their VP. Lin is one of the founders of Con-Sequential, a comic convention in Memphis, and helps coordinate the annual comic art show at the Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL each June. Was the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis' Special Event Volunteer of the Year 2001 & 2002. Lin has also helped some fellow Memphians and MSCA members meet their deadlines by inking or coloring a page here and there on their projects when needed.

(Hey, you'd be amazed at what Lin would do for free food and comics!)

Lin has recently become a pod-cast junkie and loves to listen to them, Saliva CD's (M-Town represent!), or movie soundtracks while working on comic pages.

Thanks. We're working on notifying all the retailers and comic fans we can.

Hey, be sure to talk to Antone and Janet about the BT#2 alternate cover issues. Janet did the cover and Antone did a back up story. Both very cool!

Hey- if you're in the Phoenix area at the end of this month stop by the BT booth at the Pheonix Comicon Jan 27-28. We'll have the latest BT comic #2 there. Also if you're going to be at the Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL this June stop by the Metropolis Communty Center across from the big Superman statue. It will be the location for the annual comic art show. My partners on BT- Dave and Micah, will be there with me.
