This is the part where I talk about me, right? Oh yeah, living up the name... well, why do you think I chose it? Anyway, I've been an aspiring comic author for... oh... ten years now. With a couple of projects under my belt, and one major project on hold until I locate an artist... I got back into the scene with Press ESC.

As a side note... if you enjoy the comic, join the forum and contribute your input! Press ESC is all about getting your attention, but not actually making the usually expected compromises to achieve that goal. Yeah - I'm not into kowtowing. I am looking for opportunities to stretch - like making shirts and other memorabilia! (As if the world needs more of that, right?)

Okay, lazy is not an accurate descriptor for a sprite comic author who actually gives a damn about his craft, like I do. You'll see a lot of repeat poses, but when I need a new sprite, I'll make one, and I'll dote on effects and make text legible not to mention interesting to look at.

I actually pay attention to constructive feedback, so if you LIKE Press ESC, then SAY SOMETHING! This is a community after all, not just a publishing forum. Aren't we here to improve as well as pursue the dream of "going pro"?

I am comfortable enough with my writing skills to create characters who live on the screen, and protest when I write FOR them instead of writing THEM. Character writers will understand what that feels like... and for that matter, so will a whole slew of talented artists around here. Perhaps you're one of them.

Some do it well, others need to take a course in the basics and then get some feedback before going full tilt. Ranting takes more effort than it used to, perhaps because I am more considerate of my words and how they impact those around me. It is my goal to be a positive influence - I certainly have the capacity to do so, and the knack, it seems, so why waste it?

Before opening up the "review" door, let's say I work on the trade system. Agree to review me, and I'll happily and truthfully make intelligent remarks about your work based on my experience and innate sense of what I like. If that sounds reasonable to you, PM me the URL to your website.

I am a firm believer in potential, and the allowance for mistakes provided they aren't repeated continually.
