I got my bachelor’s in Psychology focusing on adolescent crisis counseling and behavior modification (a.k.a. Sex, Drugs, and Suicide). After being a teacher’s aide in a high school for four months, I realized educational counseling wasn’t the career for me.

Now, I’m working toward getting my master’s in English writing with a concentration in fiction (formally) and in word & image combination (informally).

When I’m not busy doing school work, I can usually be found in the North Wind student newspaper office where I work as an office manager and cartoonist (I used to be a columnist and advice columnist too).

My biggest inspirations are the works of Peter S. Beagle, particularly "The Last Unicorn." And I'd love to meet him one day.

Concerning comics and graphic novels, I'd have to say Brian K.Vaughan, Joss Whedon, Bendis, etc. The list goes on and on really.

Snow Days

My comic strip that appears in the North Wind student newspaper at Northern Michigan University.

I can't draw well, but I like to think that I am funny occasionally.

On hiatus 'til August.

A side project I started one summer and never finished, but hope to one day.
