| Bulletin: | For my creative word & image project, I decided to create a comic book. I’ve posted some sketches and such that will eventually make up the book. I’ve decided to use different visual cues to distinguish various stages of the protagonist’s life such as using rudimentary crayon drawings to represent her childhood and life preceding the meeting between her and her boyfriend. Here’s a little bit about the story: Desire Sunshine Astor (a.k.a. Disaster) is a super villain just like her hippy parents used to be, but she isn't very good at it. In fact, she is much better being a regular person than robbing banks or performing other dastardly deeds. In her “civilian life,” Desire is a defense attorney who routinely defends mediocre super villains who’ve been captured by the city’s protector, Captain Amazing, a thorn in the villain community’s side. Her regular life would be great if her parents only approved of her boyfriend who works as a cable repairman. Comments appreciated. Sincerely, Susan lilsilverphoenix@gmail.com |
