Hey all!

Well, there's been some questions about my credentials and expertise regarding the ComicSpace Benefit Comic Project, so I wanted to clear those up.

My name is Brian Zastoupil!

I'm 35 years old, and I live in Southern Oregon.

My first comic book was Shogun Warriors number 16, followed closely by by Incredible Hulk number 355 (might be wrong here)-It's the issue with the Uncanny U-Foes!

The gravity-based supervillian really pasted Hulk up good-I thought that was cool!!

I'm a crazed player of the City of Heroes MMORPG, where some have stated that I can be fairly capable.

More importantly, I like to write tutorials about comics and media production, which may be viwed here: http://lordbronco.blogspot.com

Just a heads up, the most recent tutorial is a bit technical, because I've been working with PlanetWide Games to iron out a few kinks in their Comicbook Creator program (which get's 5 stars in it's current form, even with the workaround's).

The last couple of years I've been studying the C.G.I. creation of characters. Though I can pencil, everytime for me it's like pulling teeth.

Final note-who is that in my avatar icon?!?

That's my psycho G.I. Joe-inspired zone-trooper character Sgt. Skul!

He's come straight out of the Zone Unkown, complete with psychic teleportation powers, as well a serious case of P.T.S.D. owing to the fact that he has had a skull welded onto his head!

I am working on posting a real photograph asap-I'm not actually all that ugly ;-)

Best wishes,

Brian Zeee!!! (lordbronco)

Ha ha man good to hear from ya-ummm-yes not one of my best posts-but hey :-)

I wrote this totally ridiculous post on DailyKos about how sam raime equals George Bush and should be impeached-and I haven't written that stupid in years! LOL

Oh well, it's all fun.

And I am wrong, Sam Raimi is not to blame for the War in Iraq, but that Emo Pete struttin down a new york Avenue was so morbidly stupid-It actually still makes me laugh :-)

In fact, It's the only thing I remember from the whole movie all 5 hours of it :-)

It was actually gorgeously Evil Dead 2 funny, and I retract all statements hatin' on Sam Raimi.

Except the one about he's not ready for the Hobbit LOL

Good to hear from ya Francis!

I couldn't agree with ya more my friend! I mean what was up with that dance scene. Who knew when Spiderman got the black suit...he turned into John Tavolta! ICK!!! Don't even know if I'm buying the DVD.

Hi Brian.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you, that the security issue on the internet is fairly overestimated, and overshadows the usability issue - sometimes the restrictions get very clumsy. I would prefer it was the other way around. Especially when it comes to full-screen.

cheers
Hakiro

Not a prob!

It's a truly unique inking style, and for me was one of the best aspects of those old Dungeon Modules.

His art was was realistic, and yet idealized-they just worked so well for all the imaginings that went along with the pen and paper D&D!

Good stuff!

Aw thanks! Glad you like- uhm- the hand drawn-ness? I actually do the whole thing on a tablet- but I treat it like a paintbrush, so, thank you! It fools a lot of people apparently. Glad you like the strip though! I kinda like it too.

No!!Thank you!
My wacom's collecting dust and has been for last year and a half, but I *know* it's the fashizzle!

heck out Brian Denhams wacom tutorials-they're really good.

I wonder if E-harmony has a check box on it for "Wacom-tablet ownership" under compatibility ^_^...Because there's nothin sexier, in my opinion, than a gal that not only has one, but can actually use it! :-P

Now get that avatar outta meh face, it makes me giggle everytime I see it! You and your crappy game dodocahedrons! (kidding) -LB!
