| Bulletin: | Well, this is my first bulletin posting and I thought I might use it to let you all know when I've posted new entries to my blog ONE DIVERSE COMIC BOOK NATION Here's the link to the entry: http://lorenjavier.com/adventuresofagaygeek/?p=538 In this entry, entitled "Storming The Castle: Thoughts On Supergirl," I look at Supergirl and how she tends to be marketed towards young girls as an icon, yet her book is not written for kids. We ask the question if whether this is right or not and what we can do to still have a grittier Supergirl while, at the same time, have a Supergirl that will appeal to girls. Come check it out! |
