What do I do?
I'm a 3D/2D Illustrator. My favorite subject is Anime Style Science Fiction. I have many of my artworks and models used in published works. I will often take on jobs where a mechanical object needs to be created in 3D. My own project is a Graphic Novel, and its been in creation status for some time now. I hope to get it finished soon. I currently use: Truespace 6.6 This is a great 3D program to model and render with. I use it to create vehicles, buildings and space ships, as its not the best tool for organic forms. Photoshop 5.5 Old tried and true, if it works then use it. Vue D'Esprit 4 Dated, yet creates great looking outdoor scenes or cityscapes. Imports my truespace models rather easy, and Poser/Hexagon obj files too. Poser 4, 5 and 6 Excellent tool for perspective, you can modify these 3D models of people (or import and bone new ones). A quick visualization tool and awesome render for the price. Hexagon 2.1 This is a great organic modeler and texturing/UV program. It doesn't render however you can export your creations into poser and rigg/render them there. Corel Draw Suite X3 I just started using this, its fantastic software to set up your comic book pages, easy to create panels and balloons. |
