I'm happy to be here. Gotta love the picture above by Matt Busch. I got exactly what I asked for. I told him to make it look like me ... only better.

If you don't recognize me. That's okay. I haven't been a part of the comic business for about five years ... but now I'm back. I was the managing editor of Amazing Heroes magazine, the customer service rep at Sunrise Distribution, the founding publisher at Malibu Comics, served as point-man for the organizing and launch of Image Comics, put together the Bravura Comics deal for Malibu, worked briefly for Marvel Comics (eventually demoted to Director of Special Projects), witnessed and participated in the roll-out of Marvel's purchase of Heroes World Distribution, served as the founding administrator of the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, worked as a comic agent with clients like coloring house Digital Chameleon, artist Jamal Igle, writer Brian Augustyn and writer Mark Waid (the company was called Dogg Works), was the Director of US Publishing for French publisher Humanoids, and served as the chief administrative monkey for the launch of Gorilla Comics. Okay ... I officially feel really, really old.

In case you missed the press announcement, I've just joined up with Lee Nordling, Brian Augustyn, Barbara Kesel and Gordon Kent to create a professional comic book packaging and marketing enterprise called "The Pack."
