I'm a college student currently attending the University of Colorado at Denver. My comic "Breakfast at Tivoli" was published in "The Advocate" (college newspaper). It is now available on Comicspace!
Sadly do to time and content issues with the editor. BT will no longer be published. I will create a graduating comic exclusively on comicspace later this Spring when I officially graduate.

Thanks for reading my comic and giving me such wonderful feedback.

I'm also a member of the super-awesome Squidworks.

Check out my comics:

DayDream (hiatus)

My 24 hour comic for 2006

I recently finished "Fight or Flight" for the Nan Desu Kan convention. Mostly a silent comic that describes panic attacks through guinea pigs as human caricatures. Squidworks will be selling that soon. I'm going to make special edition copies with japanese bookbinding in the near future.

Please check out my better updated and guinea pig filled blog.

Breakfast at Tivoli

Experience downtown Denver campus life with Rob and Sara. They comment on campus topics and zany stuff that matter like the terror that is parking and burritos. Currently appears in CU Denver's newspaper "The Advocate."

Grit is overrated, Ellen.

The world needs more lively fare. Just been one thing after another, I guess.

Keep your head up, love, and enjoy life.

Meanwhile, I'm a little bummed by recent developments, but I'm going to follow my own advice to keep my head up and enjoy life. It is a great one after all!

RE: Breakfast at Tivoli update

Not gritty enough? Bah! I like your work because it isnt' gritty! I wonder what the editor's real axe was? Glad to see you updated it, though. Look forward to your graduate work.

RE: Breakfast at Tivoli update

I guess editors don't like stuff that's "too unique". Drunk party college strips are pretty par for the course. That's okay -- it's a blessing in disguise, you'll have more time to work on projects that are the most fulfilling to you.

Consistently charming and unexpected, Breakfast at Tivoli is one of the high comedic peaks of the comicspace-verse. Outstanding stuff!

Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you like my animations. Sometimes you can get discouraged working in the animation medium. The ends only BARELY justify the means most of the time. Thanks again.

Ellen! Mega cool! Meow!

Wow, you've been busy! I agree with Stan, the figure drawing valentine's day one is awesome!

Cheers,

Michael

These are very nice. I really like Rob. I can relate to him in many ways.
#41 was oversized though - but I'm sure you can fix that up. Thanks again for sharing your nice work, and college experiences.

Thank you for telling me the mistake. I fixed it, but sadly it got pushed to second to last. Oh well, I'll reorder these once the features are complete. Thanks again :D

On a side note, I published a new comic. I think I'll do it every Sunday...so yes people who don't read the newspaper see it first ^^

Wow! There's a LOT of strips there, Ellen! I especially love that life drawing episode!

Thanks Lonnie. My goodness I loaded all 52 of them.

Thanks for the add, Ellen. Haven't heard much from you as of late (seeing all those snow storms in Colorado didn't put me at ease), so I hope you had a happy holiday and a happy new year.

Okay, perhaps Ellen is a NEW member of the Squid Works, but she's a grizzled veteran of the webcomics scene -- an elegant storyteller. Do yourself a favor and check out her 24-Hour Comic from this year's Denver 24-Hour Comics Challenge, "Guardian Angel."
