INTRODUCTION

I. Am Darren

a) Who = I am me, no need to be somebody else
b) What = Depends on your belief system
c) When = 31 years of age
d) Where = Louisiana: the Time Travel State
e) Why = Still trying to figure that one out

II. Who

a) I am a nerd! I love comics, movies, cartoons, beer, ufc, music, art, drawing, writing and most of all, my babe.
b) I believe in a world that is black and white, but for some reason I just can’t seem to stay out of the gray. I am a complete contradiction.
c) I think entirely too much, I have more ideas than I know what to do with; I just don’t know where to begin. Maybe I should get on adderall.

III. What

a) As a kid I always wanted to be a monkey: don’t ask.
b) My current status is that of a Graphic Designer/Sign Maker. But where I am from it is not as good as it sounds. Thanks College!
c) I want to be an Artist/Writer and publish a graphic novel. Before I die I want to work on a cartoon (even if it is in the capacity of a janitor) just to say I worked on a cartoon. If these things don’t work out I’ll publish a coffee table book “the Giant Book of Unfinished Works” or I’ll just open a comic shop.

IV. When

a) My beginnings: I was brought into this world by two very great opposites.
b) I went from shy/daydreamer – to idiot/asshole – and grew into my own person and continually evolve. If I could go back in time to the idiot/asshole period I would kick my own ass.
c) I am now trying to figure out the time line for my future.

V. Where

a) It all started in a small town that I took for granted and never saw the smaller picture.
b) At 18 I advanced (if you can call it that) to Lake Charles, the start of my education.
c) Waiting to see what the world holds for me. Planning on a creative invasion soon.

VI. Why

a) I believe we are being built for something better.
b) Looking at the world it is hard to see the good and the reason, but if you stare hard and long enough the excuses are there.
c) When I figure it all out I will let ya’ll know, but by then it will probably be too late.

VII. After Thoughts

a) I want to believe in a better world but I can’t, not when it proves me wrong everyday. Thank God for small miracles.
b) I see the world through realistic eyes, not negative. The world would be a better place if it was ruled with common sense and not money or how to get orally satisfied.
c) Not everyone has to be great – you just have to be yourself and do what makes you happy.
