I´m a brazilian artist, recently graduated in one of the top Universities in the Visual Arts course. My majors are Drawing, Painting and Printing Arts.
I´m absolutely in love with the comics media, an enthusiast of this kind of language, and I´m studying a lot of theoric works about it.
I write, draw and ink a series of shor stories called "Pieces", which can be read in my DeviantArt Gallery (http://mariocau.deviantart.com) and in my webiste (in Portuguese, though. En english version is coming really soon). It´s about pieces of life, not necessarily having a beggining or an ending, but trying to make some reflections on th small things of life.
Another path of my work is photorealistic illustrations, and lately I´ve been drawing many things of the music industry, which is another of my big loves.
I also have a more cartoony style for other illustratiosn.
I also love what I call "White on black", which consist of white paint on black paper, going backwards as we do on a white paper with a black ink.
There are examples of all that in my gallery here, in my website, and in my DA Gallery. Please, take a look, and let me know what you think.
I´m penciler, inker, wirter, editor, whatever my inspiration can take me.
I´m open for projects, so let´s talk about it!

Heroes Blur
A series of sketches from my current sketchbook.
The process is: Make a nice paint blur (Tallens gouache)
Then draw a Marvel icon, first with a pencil, then with a brush and ink.
And finally, adding some white shines with a white pencil.
