| Header: | Hoka-Hey! Lakota Graphic Novel Preview! | ||
| Bulletin: | A preview of the upcoming graphic novel Lakota has just been posted...it's significant for several reasons. First and foremost, it features the last full-length pencil and ink comics work by the legendary DC and Marvel artist, Jim Mooney (he's still with us...just talked to him this past Sunday). Also, since my work on Doc Savage was so well-received, Lakotais my take on a similar type of character, but crossed with a Native American version of Big Trouble In Little China. It deals with a number of Plains Indians legends as well some good ol' conspiracy theories. And like my novels and my other comics work, it has lots of butt-kicking, bizarre situations and babes...don't forget the babes. The beautiful cover is by Darryl Banks and Melissa Martin. Hope you like it! Hoka-Hey! |
