The Great Webcomics.ca Logo Contest!

Hi all!

I am officially declaring the Great Webcomics.ca Logo Contest open! Webcomics.ca is the official online home of The Haunting of MacGrath by Mark Shainblum and Jeff Alward, with other exciting projects coming up soon.

I'm dissatisfied with my current Webcomics.ca logo, which is barely worthy of the word, as you can see here: http://www.webcomicsnation.com/memberimages/webcomicscapresents2.jpg.

We are currently open to submissions of alternate logo designs. Possible graphic themes include comics (duh) and Canada. Please note that the word "Presents" as per the current logo should not be part of the new design.

The contest deadline is June 15, 2007.

The contest winner will receive a complete collector's set of the Northguard comic book series by Mark Shainblum and Gabriel Morrissette, consisting of issues #1 through #5 of New Triumph featuring Northguard from Matrix Graphic Series (1984-86) and #1-3 of Northguard: The ManDes Conclusion, published by Caliber Press (1990-91). Cover artists include Dan and Dave Day, Peter Hsu and Ken Steacy. More information about Northguard is available at http://www.northguard.com.

The first runner up, if any, will receive a copy of Canuck Comics: A Guide to Comic Books Published in Canada by John Bell, published in 1986 by Matrix Books. More information about Canuck Comics is available at http://www.matrixcomics.com/ad-canuck.
