PROFILEI'm a Comic Book and Freelance Artist and have been in the art & comics field professionally since '92. Some of my credits include: STAR TREK, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, AVENGERS, BLACK PANTHER, AND CONAN. I've worked on countless comics and also did some time in the DC comics production dept. I've worked for many comic and trading card companies and much of my time recently (the past few years) has been spent doing artwork for Sci-Fi and Comic based card sets, including base card art and Sketch Cards, for US and oversees companies. Check out all the cards in the X-men gallery that is now uploaded.  *5/07/09 The X-MEN ARCHIVES: WOLVERINE card set has now been released and includes 26 full color sketches that I did for the set. Check out all the cards in the X-men Wolverine gallery that is now uploaded.  *11/19/08 The FANTASTIC FOUR ARCHIVES will be released on the 19th. I should have a new gallery up for all the sketches shortly after. ...aaaaand there you go! Gallery uploaded. Also released now is the DR. WHO BIG SCREEN ADDITIONS COLLECTION. Small print run and I only did 22 cards for that set. *10/28/08 Updated my Galleries with some additional pics and added a new gallery for the Women of Marvel cards. I know it's been awhile since the release but I've finally had the chance to sit down and get some computer work done. I also have the upcoming Fantastic Four crards ready to go and will post them when they're released. *10/7/08 My Blog is still going strong with regular updates and seems to be working out quite well. I've been very happy with the response and thanks to everyone thats said hi. Stop by and check it out. Check out Sketchcards.com for my full Sketchcard bio. 1/1/2008  *1/1/08 The new MARTINECKART SKETCHCARD is now available for the 2008 season. Any backordered commission will be done on the new cards as will any new requests from this point. There is just one version now so any order currently in for M1, M2, or an M3 will just get the new card. Although the page isn't updated yet, more info can be found at my Sketchcard Page.
