I'm a Comic Book and Freelance Artist and have been in the art & comics field professionally since '92. Some of my credits include: STAR TREK, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, AVENGERS, BLACK PANTHER, AND CONAN. I've worked on countless comics and also did some time in the DC comics production dept. I've worked for many comic and trading card companies and much of my time recently (the past few years) has been spent doing artwork for Sci-Fi and Comic based card sets, including base card art and Sketch Cards, for US and oversees companies. I'm also in the beginning stages of working on a Graphic Novel with a fellow freelancer and screenwriter. Check out my Showroom Page for a detailed list of most of my professional work.  5/22/2008  *5/22/08 The HAMMER HORROR Official Trading Card Collection has now been released. Check out my Hammer Horror Sketches Gallery for all the sketches I did for the set.  *4/9/08 The Women Of Marvel set has now been released. *3/14/08 I've finally finished working on the next comic card set, WOMEN OF MARVEL, and did about 250 Sketchcards to be used as 3 case incentives and some will be inserted randomly in the boxes too. Head over to Rittenhouses Women Of Marvel page for and check it out. Like I did for The DC Legacy collection, I will probably post these in a Gallery. 1/30/2008  *1/30/08 The new CSI: NY has now been released. Strictly Ink Just released this latest CSI card set in which I did a very limited number of Sketchcards for. (22) More info on this set and others like it can be found at Strictly Ink. The cards should be posted on their website shortly. (If not, I'll just post a new gallery.  *11/1/07 CSI:MIAMI SERIES 2 TRADING CARD SET has now been released. I did only 22 sketches for this set so they're extremely limited. Kudos if you score one. Released by Stricktly Ink.  *10/1/07 Spectrum 3: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art (Softcover) has been re-released by the people at Spectrum. This was originally released back in 1996 as a Hardcover, which is a pretty expensive edition to track down, and soon after as a softcover. Along with some incredible interior art and a very cool Frazetta cover, I have an interior piece of "The Thing" from one of the Marvel Overpower CCG cards in the comic art section. Any of the Spectrum books are worth a look so give 'em a try. *9/27/07 The DC UNIVERSE: LEGACY Collection has been released. Check out Rittenhouse's web site for more details. Even though they haven't been able to post scans of any of the sketches at this point, I will be posting them here in a Gallery. Standard one per box, and all color. * 1/24/07 - A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET- I've Just finished doing some Inking on Issue #6 of A Nightmare on Elm Street over Kevin West Pencils for Wildstorm. I've also only have a few Sketches left to do for the CSI card set and can finally send those out.   3/14/2008 I've been drawing Sketchcards since the very first releases back in the 90's. Check out Sketchcards.com for my full Sketchcard bio. 1/1/2008  *1/1/08 The new MARTINECKART SKETCHCARD is now available for the 2008 season. Any backordered commission will be done on the new cards as will any new requests from this point. There is just one version now so any order currently in for M1, M2, or an M3 will just get the new card. Although the page isn't updated yet, more info can be found at my Sketchcard Page.
