"Full Moon Craze #1 begins a story that is an intriguing blend of the Vampire and werewolf mythos in present day, offering a tale that has the potential to be much more than a mere black-and-white battle between good and evil." Ray Sidman, Comic Buyer’s Guide, http:///www.cbgxtra.com.

"Arguably, the best thing to ever come out of Masterpiece Comics. It clicks on so many levels: writing, artwork and colors. I cannot wait to see what happens next." Derek Coward, Comic Book Noise, http://www.comicbooknoise.com

"Fantastic. Probably Masterpiece Comic's best book since Rushmore." Joshua Pantalleresco, The Comic Bloc, http://www.thecomicbloc.com

The First Wild Boys Review Is In! 4 out of 5!

Wild Boys #1
"Ace Masters has an exciting first issue that introduces readers to seven super heroes that work for nobody but themselves. The characters have been introduced and the stage is set for what could be an exciting title from Masterpiece Comics. The script is good and there is plenty of action for fans of The Avengers and G.I. Joe. Irapuans artwork is fantastic and he has created a grim future where Earth is nothing but a vast wasteland under the control of the Jovarn. Wild Boys is a nice start and with a little bit of time this could be one of the most electrifying super hero issues from the independent scene." - TonyDoug Wright, Silver Bullet Comics (www.silverbulletcomics.com)

A great overwhelming positive review for Wild Boys. Hopefully more like this is forth coming.

NEWSARAMA PELLET REVIEW- Another Strong Review for WILD BOYS #1!

"Wild Boys #1 (Masterpiece Comics, Reviewed by Tim Janson): Masterpiece Comics is a small company who doesn’t think small. They are a very broad thinking and professional company with great aspirations. Wild Boys #1 is the first of a four-issue mini-series and it’s the most enjoyable Masterpiece title yet! The Wild Boys of the title are a group of genetically engineered soldiers, grown in a test tube and created as unstoppable soldiers, each with their own unique powers. They were tools of the government but when news of their existence leaked out to the public, there was a public backlash against the government playing God and creating life. The Wild Boys were placed into suspended animation until they were accidentally released when Earth was attacked by an alien race called the Jovarn. Now, the Wild Boys are Earth’s last hope to defeat the alien conquers but finding them won’t be easy and convincing them to help will be even more difficult. Wild Boys is filled with great action as writer Ace Masters keeps things moving at a breakneck pace. I also thought the art in Wild Boys, courtesy of Irapuan, was the strongest yet of any Masterpiece title. This is one that is definitely worth checking out!"

Fireblast Issue #1 and #2 Review - Careful With Wishes Parts 1 and 2

"Fireblast is a fine comic book by Ace Masters, and if you have read some of his titles in the past, then you will see that he has progressed as a writer. Masters has given some depth and humor to Fire, and it’s definitely the sarcastic wit that makes Fireblast #1 and #2 enjoyable." - TonyDoug Wright, Silver Bullet Comics (www.silverbulletcomics.com)

The Reviewer, TonyDough Wright, has great thing to say about the title, with a few criticisms. Overall though a positive review!

Fireblast and Wild Boys - More Great Reviews - From The Comic Fanatic

Fireblast #0 - #2

"Writer Ace Masters brings us an enjoyable futuristic tale steeped in sci-fi and good ole fashioned noir. Imagine if you will Dick Tracy meets Blade Runner!

Masters eases you into this marvelous new universe over the course of the first three issues, introducing the reader to the main character, Mack Fire, and his lovable holographic sidekick Perfecta. Fire has opened Fireblast Investigations, a new detective agency with a heckuva opening case that sends Mack in search of a missing spaceship captain.

The strength of this story is without a doubt Masters’ storytelling, which truly excels in the “relationship” between Mack and Perfecta. This bizarre relationship is written so well, I would have been completely satisfied to read a comic book series simply based on that alone. But, Masters offers up a whole lot more, including a shocking turn in issue #2.

Fireblast is a fun series that will be fun to follow and watch it grow. Hop on board while you still can!"

Wild Boys: Dawn Of The Wild #1

"As much as I enjoyed Ace Masters’ Fireblast, Wild Boys is without a doubt Masters’ shining gem thus far. Part X-Men, part Guardians of the Galaxy, Wild Boys is a post-apocalyptic gem where the heroes aren’t quite so heroic…and you really can’t blame them!

Genetically created to fight wars, the Wild Boys were put on the shelf, feared by those whom they were bred to protect. While the Wild Boys were away, the vicious alien race known as the Jovarn came to play. Now, with Earth in ruins, the few remaining human survivors are looking for a miracle…but the Wild Boys haven’t forgotten that the human race has already turned their collective backs on them once before.

Brought to incredibly vivid life by the very talented artist known as Irapuan, Masters’ brilliant tale is an excellent character piece. The reader is shown the roots of the Wild Boys and each character stands out on his own. Memorable characters with cool powers and catchy codenames make Wild Boys an addictive must read."

PRIASE FOR THE ZERO ISSUE OF FIREBLAST!
10 out of 10
“A great story that promises to set up a fascinating world. The grand thing here is a wonderful read.” - Matt Butcher, Independent Propaganda, www.independentpropaganda.com

7½ out of 10
"The starting of the plot seems to head in a good direction." - David LeBlanc, The Comics Review, www.thecomicsreview.com

4 OUT OF 5 BULLETS
“A good enough first read, this series has an interesting if not original plot premise going for it. A possible futuristic Dick Tracy? Sure, why not, especially if the creative team can maintain the undercurrent of humor that I got while reading this opener.” - Bruce Logan, Silver Bullet Comic Books, www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com

"All-in-all, a good start for a promising creative team with its bright future ahead of them. The writing is fairly tight with wit and sarcasm peppered throughout the story. Masters does a fine job of creating enough suspense and pathos to keep fans coming back for more." - Kevin Agot, The Comics Review, www.thecomicsreview.com

“The book’s greatest asset is Ace Masters’s down-to-earth, believable dialogue. He forgoes any aspirations of elegance for a grittier approach that includes a realistic dose of humor that never overwhelms the narrative.” - Kurt Amacker, Mania, www.mania.com

“Top notch writing. The colors are just beautiful. If you see Fireblast, pick it up.” - Derek Coward, Comic Book Noise, www.comicbooknoise.com

“Readers interested in science-fiction comic books might enjoy Fireblast. If Masters and his staff continue to polish their skills, then they could be a respected independent publisher of science-fiction comic books and graphic novels.” - Tonydoug Wright, Erasing Clouds, www.erasingclouds.com

8 out of 10
“Science-fiction in the style of Star Trek. For those who miss the weekly Star Trek series or even a regular Star Trek comic book, should definatly give this series s try.” - Mark Arnold, The Comics Review, www.thecomicsreview.com
