Hello all,

Miséréri Nobis is my first self-published graphic novel. This is the dark and unsetteling story of Mary, a single mother searching for her abducted daughter Alice. Along her journey through the more often avoided parts of human nature Mary comes across other people searching for something within themselves whose lives are inter woven with her own.

This story is an exploration of pain, loss, fear, missing children, pedophillia, suicide, and hope.

Miséréri Nobis is available now from ComiXpress.

My next major comics project is Passage, a long and elaborate science fiction story that will span four graphic novels. The first book, The World Called Mother, is set on a planet - which is actually a large moon orbiting a gas giant - where a race of intelligent hymenoptera, who call themselves the Faithful, are caught in the throws of violent social change. The story follows four different factions as they each sturggle against the others to propogate their own mantra. A hive in the northern hemisphere goverened by the traditional Queen worshipping aristocracy is suffering violence from without and within as the eldest Royal Attendant, feeling the influence of the Queen fade on her as she nears the end of her days, seeks to usurp not only her own hive but all the nearby hives within her reach. The Queen knows this and plans to use the younger Royal Attendant, whom she named Kyrkat, to stop her. Meanwhile the hive in the north is in conflict with a guerilla tribe. The tribes are bands of Faithful who have left their hives and rejected the Queens in favor of exploring their own individuality; a philosophy taught to them by their ancient prophet Shankara. Wayfinder, the aging leader of the tribe begins to question the purpose of all the violence and death that the tribes path has lead them to. A doubt that grows ever stronger as he raises his surrogate daughter T'eek. However his young lieutenant, Tremble, is brimming with a shortsighted and often violent zeal. At the same time in the southern hemisphere, where beliefe in Shankara has completely permiated society, the leader of one hive thinks she has seen in the gas gigant above the sign that Shankara foretold would preceed his return to Mother, and she seeks to use this as a means to unify her people. And in the north, observing all yet staying puroopsefully distant is a group who call themselves the Cult of the Tome. Whome none know for sure what they plan nor even what they believe...

Plots within plots grow and knot inside themselves as each side conspires the others downfall, some only for personal gain, others to protect the only way of life they have ever known. Passage is an intricate story of faith and betrayal.
