ABOUT ME
I'm never sure what to write but I figure I should give it a shot... My name is Matt Anderson. I've taken up the habit of writing comic books, which is good - it makes me feel productive and good about myself. I've also taken up the habit of playing Sega Genesis ROMS, which makes me uproductive, yet surprisingly, I still feel good about myself. Go figure. I enjoy getting emails (even Nigerian money scams), so if you have something you want to say, feel free to EMAIL ME. STUFF YOU CAN BUY...SOON! White Picket Fences #1 gets 9 invaders out of 10. A unique story with fitting art- pretty much exactly what you want out of a comic book. - Lucas Siegel – Best Shots, NEWSARAMA.COM White Picket Fences as a whole is comic book originality at it’s best and I highly recommend that you pick this book up! - Gary Rodrigue – COMICNEWS.INFO White Picket Fences is a book you should try as it will make you smile for all the right reasons. - Chuck Moore – COMICRELATED.COM One of the best things about working for a site like Comixtreme is that sometimes, when you’re not looking, someone slips you a preview of a great comic book that no one has heard of yet, and you get to be the one to tell people about it. White Picket Fences is just that book. - Blake M. Petit – COMIXTREME.COM Mix The Goonies with the Iron Giant and a bit of X-Files and you’ve got some idea, but really, White Picket Fences is too original to be effectively boiled down in such a manner. - Randy Lander – COMICPANTS.COM White Picket Fences is simply, beautifully, staggeringly amazing. The honest-to-childhood characterizations of the kids, the wild situation, and the reverent send-up of the small town 1950s puts to shame the other supposedly more sophisticated (and almost inescapably negative) modern jaunts down this particular science fiction avenue. - The Scoop, SCOOP.DIAMONDGALLERIES.COM (White Picket Fences is) a great story for all age readers and that’s something that I think we really need more of on the comic shelves. - Jay Mckiernan, SILVERBULLETCOMICS.COM This (White Picket Fences) is a cleverly written book with some beautiful art. - Scott Tingley, COMICSINTHECLASSROOM.NET There is nothing in this book (White Picket Fences) that couldn’t make this a classic. I felt the same adrenaline rush when I read the first issue of Abadazad from Crossgen some years ago. - Martijn Form, SILVERBULLETCOMICS.COM Does it seem like I'm gushing about this book? Well, maybe I am. This is just one of those books where, when you read it, you realize you've been missing out on something by not already being on board. So, if you haven't read any White Picket Fences yet, you might want to do yourself a favor and check this one out. - Matt Grant, PROJECTFANBOY.COM If you're looking for a nostalgic and lively read with likable characters, then this book (White Picket Fences) is for you. - Moya Dawson, PAPERBACKREADER.COM You hear people bandy about best of the year all the time. Yeah, there were better books than White Picket Fences last year, but no other comic was my favorite. Regardless of what books I had to review or what weekly series demanded my time, when White Picket Fences came out it was the first read. - Lee Newman, BROKENFRONTIER.COM ______________________________________________________________________ STUFF YOU CAN BUY...SOMETIME!
