NEW: TRIXIE BIKER: ENTER JACK NARCISSUS

An act of charity saw Jane Jasper rewarded with powers and abilities beyond those of ordinary men. Aided and abetted by THE GOGO PIXIES and DIXIE THE SUPERBIKE, Jane Jasper is TRIXIE BIKER, Hero of Deva City: dedicated to the struggle against crime, injustice and the stifling ennui of daily life!

In Enter Jack Narcissus, Trixie Biker encounters her most insidious foe yet - a disgraced Pop Idol! Rejected by his former bandmates, maverick frontman Jack Narcissus turns his supercharismatic powers on a stadium full of fans, putting not only them, but the whole of Deva City at risk!

Will Trixie be able to resist his charms? Will the GoGo Pixies be able to control an army of zombified fans? And will Dixie The Superbike end up as magical scrap?

It's Trixie, Dixie and the GoGo Pixies versus Jack Narcissus - with ten thousand souls at stake!

TROUBLE BRUIN!

TROUBLE BRUIN is a family memoir that spans eight decades and proves that even superheroes need someone to look up to.

Brummie lad Eric Brown was born into tragedy: bad luck dogged his every step. But when a military accident gave him powers beyond those of mortal Midlanders, Eric chose to serve his community as the mysterious BLUE TED.

Eric's story is told through the eyes of his son, David - a son for whom he gave up the hero game, and a son for whom the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Trouble Bruin begins with The Blitz and gallops to an explosive conclusion, but at its heart, it explores the relationship between father and son, and examines the consequences of unconditional love - for people, for places, and for adventure.

Trouble Bruin made its debut, somewhat appropriately, at the recent Birmingham Comics Show. over 60% of the initial print run sold through in two days, so I've just uploaded the complete comic to The Matthew Craig Dot Com. There's a comprehensive behind the scenes interview at the site, as well as over 250 pages of additional free comics.

Should you want to buy a print copy of Trouble Bruin, please get in touch. It costs £1.75, including postage and packing, and will come with a free Newstreet ashcan and Bruin sketchcard. The colour cover and a three-page preview can be found here.

I did think about begging for a table, but I'll probably end up missing it. Too much stuff, not enough money.

I am on the verge of getting a table at the UKWebComixThing thing, though, which'll give me enough time to get at least one new comic ready.

Yeah, I wish I'd heard about it sooner. I'd have put money aside for a good display.
