MaxGorilla
  The story of three gorillas, Frank, Sal and Earl, on the run from the police for the murder of their employer. They are befriended by a young boy, Max, who helps them solve the mystery as well as find their place in a world that doesn't quite accept them for who they are. Action, adventure, sci-fi, murder/mystery.  Four or five pages a week, uploaded daily, Monday to Friday. MaxGorilla.com Kevin Richter is the creator, writer and artist of Max And The Gorilla Goon Squad. He is a 3d comic artist by day, working on 'The Premier' webcomic for The Sun newspaper in the UK, and 2d comic artist by night on Max And The Gorilla Goon Squad.  Max And The Gorilla Goon Squad is produced entirely on the computer. Painter is used for sketching, pencilling and inking of the comic, with Photoshop being the program used to color, dialogue, wordballoon etc.  Why? Making comics shouldn't need a reason why, but if you must: because it's a fun, enjoyable, creative outlet, a need, an urge, a desire to create worlds, characters, stories, and images. For the pure love and joy of comics!

Wow! With its central theme of intelligent animals on the run, I guess "Max and the GGS" could be seen as having a certain superficial similarity to Grant Morrison's "We3". Except, of course, that "We3" was pretty lightweight and had none of the depth of character, humour or even the all-out action-led excitement of "Max". WOW, what an awesome comment! :) Thank you so much for the nice words, I'm really glad you enjoy MaxGorilla. I have to say that I am not familiar at all with We3, I had to look it up, but to be compared favorably with Grant Morrison is indeed a compliment, so thanks for that.
