| Bulletin: | Whats up with Dark horse comics publishing this book? No disrespect to the creators, Im sure they think its fantastic but the art is rubbish and the anatomy of the characters is terrible. I encourage all creatorcon.com users to start submitting work to Dark Horse.(ive seen work 100 times better than this..) I didnt look at the artists name who drew this because i didnt want to be bias if the user was a part of creatorcon.com network. Im by far an art critic but it doesnt take an expert to see that this book is a flop. This is just my pathetic review of the book. Check it out and let me know what you think. Their running an ad on comicspace in the top position. A desperate young man breaks into a house and finds its owner awake inside; a school teacher returns from a tropical vacation carrying a disturbing secret; a girl's playground bullying triggers a horrifying event-three separate stories inextricably linked by forces beyond the awareness of their participants. The winner of Dark Horse's 2004 New Recruits contest, Blessed Thistle heralds the debut of an unsettling new voice in graphic fiction, Steve Morris. Relentless in its questioning, unflinching in its answers, this thinking-man's thriller delves into the heart of suburbia and reveals it to be very dark indeed. Scary and surprising, unexpected and unpretentious, this original graphic novel sheds a terrifying light on a few ordinary people and the simple decisions that change their lives forever. Pub. Date: February 07, 2007 Format: Full color, 88 pages, TPB, 6" x 9" Age range: 16+ Price: $9.95 ISBN-10: 1-59307-630-4 ISBN-13: 978-1-59307-630-6 |
