 My current project! Turns out the super-rad Desire Grover is publishing an awesome comic, and decided to allow a few guest artists some page in the book, so you best believe I came at that like a spider monkey. So watch this spot and get your copy when it's done, because besides the illustrious DG and myself, you're getting some other awesome art and story tellin' from two MORE guest artists, Albert Latham and Kirsten Brown. Quadruple score! BIO: Heyo, just a gal with no schoolin' thinking she can break into the biz someday. I've done a lot of one-shots over the years, but I'm dabbling in sequential strippery and multi-page stories these days. To the right, you'll find my first real attempt at such, half diary comic, half account of an awkward time in both life and USAF restructuring. (There's a lot of pages omitted, because they were crapola, but if you feel the need to point and laugh, the whole run is on the DeviantArt below.) I've another project due to finish on the 15th, so we'll see how that goes. Ultimately, I love comics. I feel like this is our time's hieroglyphs, the Justice League is our Mount Olympus, and far in the future, these fragments will attest to our way of life in ways Pepsi commercials only hint at. That was my mistake page surfing with out paying attention just browsing for cool artwork. It's still a cool concept even though it isn't yours (SPIDERS) checked out all the artist works. Enjoyed your work, like the vertical style you incorporate with your strips. Great change of pace... |
