About Me:

For my "Day Job", I operate and co-own one of the largest comic stores in the Seattle area called The Comic Stop. My partners in the store and I are also the ones responsible for the largest comic convention in Seattle, The Emerald City ComiCon. What little free time I have is usually put to good use by working on various writing, comic book, and design projects.

I am the creator and main writer for Modern Pulp Comics, my own brand of online and print comic books focusing on a mixture of horror, crime, pulp, and superhero genres. Under this brand, I have had several titles published through Rorschach Entertainment, such as Sprecken, Lucifer Fawkes, and Dallas McCoy. I am currently working on a couple of new miniseries featuring these characters and titles.

I am also working on two other comic-related projects under my Micro Brew Comics banner. The first comic project is Steve Lawlis, a horror comedy series. The first one-shot, Steve Lawlis: Frankenstein's Monkey, is now available for purchase. The first mini-series, Steve Lawlis Spectacular, is tentatively planned for summer of 2008.

The second comic project is Blue Shift, a sci-fi adventure book that's co-created and co-written by actress Gigi Edgley (of Farscape fame).

I am also working with Wildcat Books and Airship 27 productions, doing various short stories for their pulp anthologies. The first one I did was Secret Agent X: The Man of a Thousand Faces Vol 1, which was released last year.

Looks like there's potential for me to come out for ECCC! I'll expect my VIP room ready a day early, stocked with groupies and a Wii.

Excellent news! I'll get your bowl of red M&Ms ready, the candy shells removed, just as you like it. ;)
