My name is Mike Exner III, and I'm a comic book writer. I'm working and have worked on a number of projects that have achieved varying degrees of success. You can take a look at a few of them in the galleries off to the right.

I like to tell stories, so sit around my campfire sometime.

Thanks for the kind words, Rob! I hope you give the issue of Digital Webbing Presents that MegaStar appears in a try in July. I'll try to keep putting together solid and fun stories in the meantime. :)

[ Posted by Construct on Apr 27th, 2007 1:31 AM ]...

Mega Star looks like good fun. Any way I could check out the rest of Four Gunmen?

Depends what you want to see, I guess. I have scripts, and I have pencilled artwork for a few more pages, but that's about it. PM me with your email addy and what you'd like to check out and I'll see what I can do.

Looking good. I'm liking what I'm seeing. LOL

That's what I like to hear, Ted! Your art has been blowing me away lately, so it was only natural I had to snatch that Spidey piece for my avatar. I'll probably toss it up on here too eventually. Start a gallery so I can favorite it, man! Later.

[ Posted by armandoB on Apr 14th, 2007 12:26 AM ]...

when are you gonna update your blog, man?

Man... it has been a long time since I've updated the blog, hasn't it? I'll definitely be more active with it once I have the content to support it. In other words... soon. :)

I am normally not into manga styles, but your cratfsmanship and character sheets are brilliant.ooking forward for more.

Well, I can't take credit for the art, I'm just the lowly writer. But hopefully the work Sergio and I put out will continue to impress, Serhan. Thanks again!

Unfortunately writing is not one of my abilities. I respect people who can do that.

Holy crap, that Shuriken Cricket gallery is AWESOME, Mike!! (And it's only concept sketches too!)

Thanks, Rob! Sergio and I are both pretty excited about it. Hopefully a publisher will be similarly excited.

I dig your style Mike, thanx for the comments and such, It's true what you say though, it's a labor of love, all the blood, sweat, and tears, lots and lots of tears make it all worth it...

They say misery builds character, and as long as we can turn those characters into some kick ass comics...hardship ain't so bad!!!

and about the blog, man, I took off some links because I thought I was linking too much..heh...I'll keep posting em if you keep exploring them!

ARRIBA LOS TECNICOS!!!

Nah, don't worry about linking to great stuff on the internet. The more I can read about and the more I can enjoy, the better. Congrats on getting your creation into the War of the Independents. I heard about it too late to get my own in, but it looks like it'll be an amazing creation anyway. Ha! Talk to you later. Gotta bleed a little more...

[ Posted by flameape on Feb 28th, 2007 7:01 PM ]...

terrific stuff on the gunmen! maybe they should team up with our version of Holliday? ;D

Anytime! I think the Four Gunmen would be hard pressed to keep up with Holliday, but you never know. :) I'd actually really be interested in working with you at some point in the future if you're willing. I really admire your style.

[ Posted by stephenmolnar on Feb 27th, 2007 9:59 PM ]...

I smashed a cockroach and it's guts came out it's butt. I walked away and upon return was horrified. It was gone except for a moist trail.
It was then i knew the gravity of life.

welcome!!!

[ Posted by Editor_Girl on Dec 14th, 2006 9:17 AM ]...

Awww, Mike...I didn't forget you. Four Gunmen is REALLY good, even if it didn't fit in to the scheme of things. Prove us all wrong that a Western can sell like crazy, I would LOVE it. And don't be a stranger! :)

[ Posted by thepurelands on Dec 14th, 2006 3:35 AM ]...

Hi, Mike! As you know, I think Four Gunmen is great -- can't wait for it to get published so I can read it!
