As a kid in the mid-70s, I was struck by the variety of titles your work would unexpectedly show up in, such as Batman Family, (Robin & Batgirl), the Atom or Green Arrow & Black Canary back-ups in Action Comics, Aquaman back-ups in Adventure Comics...the list goes on. (And of course, your stellar work in LSH). It was always a thrill, opening one of those books & finding you were the artist. It was a solid guarantee that this was going to be a great read. Thanks for the add.

My first and favorite of your work was a 1975 issue of Superboy and The Legion of The Super-Heroes, where a giant Khund was wiping out the Legionnaires on a chess board.

Inside that issue, I really dug the dialogue within the explosion of the ship, and the back-up feature where Wildfire was blasting Laurel Kent.

Wildfire, Shadow Lass, and Timber Wolf would have to be my favorite Legionnaires from this period.

Thank you for the happy memories I have from this title.

I'm sure you don't remember me, but I used to bug you at the Portland show quite a few years back...we came up with the idea of doing a pinup book with different artists doing stick figures...and I actually got a Batman stick figure sketch from you.

Y'know, my dad never understood why I liked comics. Then, he saw a couple of my Warlord comics--with those incredibly designed covers, dynamic interiors, and gorgeous ladies! He then gave me the $17 I needed to buy Warlord #1 off the wall of my local comic shop...

Everyone is talking about Warlord, Green Arrow, and Sable. But how many of us were so blown away by our first issue of Superboy and LSH? Mike's artwork in those issues really got me started in wanting to learn how to draw and seeing comics as an art form.

What a great miniseries was that with Green Arrow and the tattoed oriental lady, I don't remember her name, it was a long time ago, but I still have it. Some nice bloody scenes with arrows, heh.
