millidge
I'm probably best known as the writer and illustrator of the self-published Strangehaven comic book series. I have done some other stuff, like co-editing (with smoky man) and contributing to Alan Moore: Portrait of an Extraordinary Gentleman and creating a strip for Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror. I've also recently completed writing a second all-ages how-to book (with James McKay) called Draw Dragons due for publication by New Holland in the autumn of 2008. I'm currently working on getting Strangehaven #19 published for sometime in 2008, plus a proposal for a comic-related book and some freelance website and design work. website: www.millidge.comblogspot: millidge.blogspot.com

Really love the book.
Are you getting any residuals from lost? ;)
Best of Luck with all your work.

Residuals, no, but I think me and the writers of LOST are all hanging around in the same neighbourhood of IdeaSpace. |

I'm still working at the college, but at least I'm getting to squeeze in some REAL work after hours. |

Ah, look at you there sitting in your tower with your 64 friends, I won't tell them that you like to stay in seedy hotel rooms at weekends. Good to see you at Birmingham too, it was a good laugh... so did you sell out completely on the Sunday? 2 Replies [ Latest posted on January 18th, 2007 3:18 PM ]

Yep. Sold out of all my stock and all my art. I even sold my backdrop, tablecloth and my car, so I had to catch a train home. |

I dunno. I keep saying I'm going to stop doing as many shows this year and do more drawing. I think I must have fallen off Pat's invite list, as I don't know when it is this year. Any idea? |

I think it's about the 15th March or something like that. I've not actually booked my table yet, as I'm not sure I can get the time off work, but I will do my best to be there. |

Good to see you are still up and rolling! I don't get over to your web site much, but always love it when a new Strangehaven comes out.

Sir, Thank you for the add (and the holiday card). Each time a new issue of Strangehaven comes out, I 'force' myself to re-read the back issues and discover something new with each read. You're one of my favourite creators--getting an 'add' from you is like getting a high-five from a rock 'n' roll hero. |

Hi, Gary, good to see you on here, mate! Not a lot to see so far of course, but certainly seems to be filling up pretty quickly in the last week. How's life in Strangegaven? 1 Reply [ Latest posted on December 16th, 2006 8:48 AM ]

It's certainly interesting being around at the start of something instead of jumping on a bandwagon that's already left town! Good to see you on here! |
