MIRIDA is a four member, all female group which specializes in comic book making. It is comprised by the “paws” AYA, KAT, JILL and APRIL.

A collaboration of various specialties in style and versatility, the group was formed in the year 2002 while in college at UST. Their first published work, Raven’s Moon, was featured as the first fan comic entry in Culture Crash.

MIRIDA then joined KOMIKON 2005 where their entry Sabado (Saturday), won 3rd place in the Comic Creation Contest and another entry, Faux, won 2nd place in the Indie Tiangge contest of 2005.

Last 2006, our entry for the themed comics category of Komikon, Patok, won first place. And the entry for the tiangge, Talikala (Link), won second place.

On 2007, we won the grand prize for the Themed comic book making category again in Komikon with our piece, Ang Alamat ng Videoke (The Legend of the Videoke).
