Miss doesn't do anything. Or, Miss does a lot of things, but none of them are useful. Various dabblings don't really count for anything in the outside.

It must therefore smoke filthy cigarettes, learn Russian (at a time when it seems inappropriate to do so), amass large quantities of plastic insects for purposes unknown, and try not to drink Baileys like it is a milkshake.

In other "content":
A good comic is a good comic, is what I say, and I say what I like, and if I like what I see, then I'll say I like it.

I cry at night (and sometimes during the day) because I had a rather decent comic hoard which I had to leave in Australia, and am currently trying to swindle someone over there to ship them to the USA for me. However, I swiftly began compensating by virtue of Amazon.

So, what is on my temporarily depleted shelf? Lucifer, Runaways, Sleeper, The Walking Dead, 30 Days of Night, Ex Machina, Nextwave (oooh, in spiffy hardback), Pride of Baghdad (oooh, also in spiffy hardback), and a few miscellaneous things that I can't see from here.

Back in Oz, the compleat Transmetropolitan, and Preacher, plus titles such as Fables, Y: The Last Man, 100 Bullets, Hellblazer, The Invisibles, the first four Walking Dead TPBs, a few Sandman books, 1602, a few Sin City books, DMZ, Astro City, The Filth (hahaha giant jizz), and various other things which are SORELY MISSED.

OK. Shutting up now.

Hell-O, Fangs 4 Bein' My ComicSpace Fiend! ~ Chops!

Thanks for the add. It's good to meet other Coloradans... funny we have to do so online. I hope you'll give local comics a chance and browse through our stuff. We've got lots of free webcomics and books that you'll probably never see at your local store.

Hey Miss,

I've finally started watching Firefly, and I'm pretty sure I'm hooked. Yay! Just wanted to post a comment to make this ComicSpace friendship seem so much more genuine! :)

Hope you're well,
Dani.

Wow...thank you. That totally made my day. I hope it works! =) Also, if either you or your mother are interested in being interviewed, please let me know. =)

I'd be really happy to do an interview if you wanted one! I'll ask mother if she'd be into doing one, too, though she doesn't seem to read comics anymore (unless she has a secret stash I don't know about), it could be interesting to get her to revisit those days! Cheers!

Thank you so much for checking out the column, I'm glad you enjoyed it! =) I have a lot of fun working on it and meeting lots of fun and interesting fangirls.

My pleasure, I even passed it on to my mother (who was majorly into Phantom when she was a youngster) and she thinks it's great! I've been trying to convince her to talk to her publisher about injecting some comics into their current line and it was handy to have your column to point to as an example of a potential audience.

Pushers are awesome.

I've yet to see Firefly. I heard about it at a con two years ago, and ever since I've been forgeting to buy it. I might get it if I get any money this X-Mas. However, I have Buffy season one in my living room that I borrowed. I am such a bad borrower.

Oh, and have you read any Brian Michael Bendis stuff? He's awesome.

I am beyond excited about Joss's run. I am such a big fan of Buffy, Angel and pretty much anything he's done.

I'm hoping I can get the last trade before his first issue, but I'm guessing not. Sigh, I miss money...

You could always be miserly and get a used copy from some seedy internet comic pusher :D

I think Firefly was my favourite piece of Joss-stuff. Though I very much liked the Buffster.

Oooh, thanks for the link. Xistmas cash is sucking my coffers dry, but I'll see what I can do within the next month. Cheers!

Hi, Miss!

Thanks for the add. I'm a big fan of Runaways, too. I'm really afraid to say it out loud, though, since I've only read the first two digests... I've got the next two ordered.

Have you read Warren Ellis's Fell? I think that you'd like it, judging by your darkly lit YouTube vlogs... Plus, it's cheap!

Nice to meet you!

HAVE I READ FELL? Boy, have I ever been reading it.
I love it to bits.
:)

Runaways is very good, and apparently Joss Whedon has picked up where BKV left it off. Eeeeee!

As my doc "sez", I'm a tough little lady. You like the short hair, eh? I am still dubious about it, I miss my pigtails.
Thanks for keeping up with my 'Tubes and Blogs and whatnots, much appreciated!

Cheerio!

PS: I like my dead look. Don't be hating on zombies, now! Plus, if I'm a zombie, I get to say things like "I got the braaaaains of the family" and so on. Nyuk nyuk. OK, that was bad, but I haven't slept.
