This is WEIRD PULP.

The darkly pungent, stickily sweet “meat and potatoes” of modern comics literature.

While much in the way of early “pulp" fiction has been condemned as hackneyed, unsophisticated or pornographic, there were a few distinguished authors (many published in “Weird” periodicals) who artfully raised the bar, breathing into it a freshness and vitality that have influenced writers and artists for nearly a century.

We believe that independent comics creators today are in a unique position to redefine the medium, merging the experimental with the traditional to create "new trends" that pay homage to the old.

Somewhere inside these pages, down the slippery, blood-spattered streets and smoky back-alleyways laden with remnants of midnight carnivals and parades...

Somewhere, inconspicuously tucked between the crumbling edifices of “Le Theatre Grand Guinol” the “Theatre of Cruelty”, “Café Limbo” and the abandoned offices of C. Auguste Dupin, and Phillip Marlowe...

It has been our hope, in creating these stories, to learn (the hard way) the dos and don'ts in this highly competitive medium.
