| Bulletin: | Hey Comrades, The time has come, and my workload and projects are just to much for me to handle. So, I've got to admit it. Dr. Sketchy's needs an intern. In case you don't know, Dr. Sketchy's is a 25-city chain of burlesque-life drawing classes, with branches in Hollywood, NYC, Tokyo, London, Edinburgh, Rome and Melbourne. Dr. Sketchy's has spawned a successful art book, received copious media love and will be coming out with gallery shows, a 2008 calender, a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest, and other exciting projects in the next year. YOU: Fluent in basic photoshop and HTML Obsessed with computers Articulate Willing to devote 3 hours a week to Dr. Sketchy's work Interested in art, subcultures, pop culture and the internet Can live anywhere YOUR JOBS: Researching and writing to sponsors, websites and media outlets Posting on messageboards and online communities Creating and maintaining profiles on social networking sites Primping the Dr. Sketchy's myspace Making Dr. Sketchy's web banners and teaser graphics Updating the Dr. Sketchy's website WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT: Free admission to Dr. Sketchy's, anywhere in the world Free Dr. Sketchy's books and merchandise A hands-on education in indie marketing Access to a world-wide art community You might even be able to get college credit, if you pitch it to your professor correctly THIS IS AN UNPAID POSITION (Though, if we work well together, it could lead to paid work in the future) Please send resumes (or just a description of your skills and experiance) to mollycrabapple@gmail.com Thanks! -Molly |
