So here it is--myspace for comics, eh? Well, we can jump on that bandwagon. Moonlit Battles is actually a group effort--there's a writer, an artist, and then an inker. I guess it means that none of us have enough time to fully devote ourselves to comic production through every stage, but hey, it's loads of fun. And for me, having attempted to do a webcomic before, it's much cooler because a) I don't have to think up the ideas, b) I don't have to make the layouts and c) they still let me design the website. (Rock on.) Otherwise this would probably have swiftly died the same horrible death as the Seventh Floor, which swiftly ran out of content as the art got crappier. So--long live the conglamorates!

The first ten pages are now uploaded to that handy little comic gallery deelie over on the side--we'll see how that goes--but there's many more page currently online on our website, http://www.moonlitbattles.com, not to mention forum and other fun things. After a brief hiatus due to our artist's you know, actualy life, like college and sht00f! (as she would say) we are doing regular updates again...as long as Twilight Princess does not interfere. >.<'

I wanted to take some time in this new year to thank you folks for your support of me and my little comic strip Town Called Dobson. We crossed the 500th Strip threshold this past year, got printed in some great independent newspapers, got to show off how I create TCD at Adobe over the summer and the continued presence in the blogosphere is always a blessing. Without your support, readership and emails, TCD would never have made it so long. It is with the deepest heart I thank you all. It is vital that progressive issues are represented in editorial cartooning, especially in these days of dwindling news readership.

Your consistent support and strip devotion has earned Town Called Dobson a 2008 Weblog Award Nomination for Best Webcomic. I am stunned to be nominated and I am sure Karl Rove was secretly working behind the scenes to kill the nomination off, but "Hope" wins again!
