The best 5 days of the year happen in July during San Diego Comic-Con International! I've been going since I was 12 years old; never missed a con yet, baby! I live locally so I really lucked out in terms of being able to attend.

I take my name (Mr AOR) from the kinda music I dig. You may not have heard of it (AOR), but you've HEARD it. The biggest bands that fall under this umbrella are Bon Jovi, Journey, y'know...big corporate rock. I dig hair bands and good time rock and roll music. My love of rock music is on par with my love of comics. I actually know more obscure trivia regarding 80s hair metal than I can offer for comics. Overall though, my love of the written word wins out over music most days of the week.

I love free verse poetry. My favorite is Charles Bukowski. I self-published a book a few years ago...it was a cool experience. Someday I'll put out a comic...but when that is...(shrug)...
