Touch retouched.
My friend Jeff Gaither inked and colored a previous drawing of mine. Now, if only I can develope some kind of mind control power to make him ink all my future drawings.

Black Ivy and Jamie and Dark Angel
Goth chick inspired by Lori Petty in a Masters of Horror episode. Jamie from Chaos Campus doing what she do. It's a pin up that will be in Chaos Campus: Orientation, later this year. Dark Angel was just something to do.

Just some Clown.
Hmmm. I wonder what's on his glove? I'll color it when I get Photoshop or maybe some Prisma markers.

"The Ville." Zombies welcome.
The Ville is Louisville Ky's nickname. And yes we have Zombies here. Come on down and "send more cops."
|
 |
Tales from the Deadguy
Mini-comic from 1986. I must like it because I tend to throw away my old art artwork. Yeah I'm stupid.
|
 |
The Dark Knight/Black Panther/Witchblade.....
Assorted artistic goodness from yours truly. Help I'm being possessed by Stan Lee!
|
 |
Zombie
I'm ripping my own self off. This drawing taken from a previous pen and ink drawing. Just wanted to see it in color.
|
 |
My Villikon Chronicles artwork
The finished colorized version will appear at the ending credits of the movie. How cool is that? BIG kudos to Roy Young for making me look good, helluva colorization art.

Pencil drawings
Some pencil drawings from a year ago when I decided I wanted to become a full time comic book artist.

It came from the 80's!
I managed to keep/not destroy a few drawings from the middle 80's. Bladerunner's celebrating 25 years so here's a Deckard illustration along with the Road Warrior and Howard the Duck. And yes I liked the Howard the Duck movie.

Nexus/Spidey/Shade and more.
Inked this Nexus page a while back. How can you mess-up a Rude drawing? His art is tight. It was taking from (I forget the exact title) from the how to ink book series put out by DarkHorse comics.

Who is this?
Met a guy at the '94 Chicago Comic Con, long story short I did this pin-up my life got hectic and I lost touch (my fault) with the guy I was doing it for. Just found this in a BIG stack of old artwork. "Wolf" something comes to mind.

Golden Rapid
Golden Age Superhero created by Ideal comics. Not sure when and where Ideal will print the pages so I'll just post them here. Kinda like these pages if I do say so myself but I can do better (I hope!). :)

 |
Coming soon....maybe?
Following 8 pages are part of a 52 page anthology appearing in Zing comics #1 and was supposed to drop June 6 but Ideal comics hit a snag somewhere so check 'em out here.

Who says Captain America's dead?
Decided to use this as the default photo on my Myspace profile. It's not photo shop. I went old school and cut out some of the drawing and then taped it over the flag photo.

Batman/JSA /Black Panther/Thing vs Super Skrull/The Creeper
Batman page was gathering dust so I retouched it a bit with paint shop. JSA pages were kinda iffy but what the hell...here they are. Old Panther page. Redid it and will post it later. Just added a Creeper pin-up.

HERO
This is panel from an eight page story that will appear in a Ideal Comics anthloogy later this summer. Pose and tone obviously inspired by Doc Savage. Photo shopped it to try and catch the mood. Still practicing.

 |
Made in the Shade
Playing around with photo shop and my favorite Superhero. Shade created by Steve Ditko.
|
 |
The Myth: Pencils and inks.
My friend from across the pond Stephen Aryan asked for a pin-up for the next issue of The Myth, I had time so I did two. Still playing around with Photoshop trial. A couple of head shot color studies just added.
|
 |
Void sketch for friend/and final inks. Color added.
A. Nonymous asked me to do a pin-up of his character, here's the sketch before I do final inking on it. Got a 30 day trial with Photoshop trying to teach myself. Hits and misses.

Penciled submission pages
I did these pages late last year (long story) after not drawing for a year. A little rusty with a lot of room for improvement.

I hurt the ones I love
Old Shade pages, some parts I like and others I don't. Kicking it old school again: Magnus Robot fighter with a Terminator skull and Nick Fury <ahem> terminating a LMD(Life Model Decoy). I sence a theme.
|
 |
Flash/Shade/Doomsday/Batman/Thunder Agents
I loved the Steve Ditko Shade Superhero so much I made it my son's middle name. As you can tell I like the old school heroes. The Shade pages are penciled (tightly I think) and then I went ahead and inked 'em.

It's hard being a Prowler
Pencil and inked pages of the Prowler a little outside his power level.
