Now in this Zero Issue I am throwing the reader right into the middle of the chronology, and with subsequent issues one will have to dig himself out of the mystery by learning more about the fateful world of the Hobos and the Musterd Man. Enjoy!

I really liked you line work. I'm glad we could connect.

RE: not much luck
Looks interesting. You know, the figure work has a James Owen-esque style going on. I really like the characters and world building, too. Very unique presentation. You know thinking this far out the box means your audience might be limited on ComicSpace.

But then... this is also the best place to showcase it.

I will note that the font was a bit hard to read. That swirly serif - especially when small - took effort. I know you're making this "other worldly" in dialog and font, but at the same time reading this took me partly out of the comic when I had to decipher the text.

As for color vs. black & white. I'm on a fence over that. I like the color work, especially on the characters. Sometimes the 'photoshop' jumped off the page instead of working with it. The scenes with all the garbage, for instance. But I liked it in other places. It still seems like the coloring is searching for a style, though. Trust me, I know the feeling. I'm still searching myself.

But that's the trip with us artist, eh? We're never satisfied, and always learning.

thanks.. im glad i posted that bulletin as ive started a couple dialogues. I looked up Owen, its a fine fantasy style, very detailed. on Comicspace: i realized from the start that this site, like a microcosm of the american comic world is going to glaze over my "out the box" way of making comics, and granted, besides being an avid reader of spiderman at the age of 12, i do not come from comics. before i started this comic my mythology and worldbuilding was done via performance art, painting and sculpture, and having realized that the fine art world is also glazing over my dystopic sci fi-ish worldview, i appropriated the comic format for my story to try to reach "regular folks".

the font i used is unfortunate, but i have switched in my second issue to a more readable font.

i had not heard a critique on my photoshop yet, thanks for that.. with each book im experimenting with new styles.. my third issue is to be black and white with shade patterns, if i can manage to harness the power of manga studio. its true i am searching for a style but i suspect that it will continue to change, this may be unfortunate because in my story i have been boucing around the timeline like crazy, and if i ever want to reorder the pages in a graphic novel, then the different styles will also be shuffled.. ah well we shall see

your comments are well appreciated.. i will drop a comment on your stuff shortly..

Hey, actually this site is really good for creators. You get to build a small fanbase, and get in touch with publishers. What more could you ask for?

Swing by the Lounge some time!

Cool. It's not so much a Lounge, more a large studio space. But there's a pub opposite, we like to think of it as our lounge...
