I have been a fan of Ardra from the beginning, and I like how the art has changed in that time, but I can see your frustration at being stalled like this. You know, if you have the desire and a lot of patience, you could be your own artist. You don't need lessons or art school. You would eventually find a style you're happy with. And you'd never have to rely on anyone!

Actually, I'm in the process of setting up a page on Deviant Art, just to run some sketches and Ardra-related stuff past friends/fans of my comic. I actually think I've gotten my technique down enough where I COULD draw the comic myself if I HAD to, but it would be years, if ever, before I could get it to the point I could be satisfied with it. Plus my lack of good software and equipment doesn't help. Trev went MIA at a really bad time, as I was just getting ready to do a big ad blitz after he did a planned site upgrade...none of which came to pass. The funny thing is, I've gotten some of my best link exchanges since he left. I'm hoping the same thing happens to my comic that happened to "Least I Could Do" after Trevor left there...a huge upsurge in popularity. Of course, it would help to have an even-better artist take over...;) Thanks for all your support and help, and keep up the good work with your own comic.
