I was so sad to hear of Michael Turner's passing. I knew he had cancer, but I thought it was in remission. From what people say about him, he seemed to be the kind of guy who didn't want to make a fuss. He was a great artist and person. He will be greatly missed.

My contribution to the comics industry is a very important one. I am a reader and collector. Why is that so important? Without the likes of me there would be no comics industry! lol :p

Seriously though, I have been reading comics for about 16 years and still loving it.

My favourite comics are Birds of Prey, Batman, Superman and Witchblade. These are my main titles, of course there are other titles I like as well. I used to read a lot of Marvel (mainly X-Men), but had to cut my titles due to finances. Now I am in a position to start increasing my titles, I have started getting Astonishing X-Men again. I do want to get into more titles, but fear coming on board during the "Civil War" storyline may be too confusing.

My favourite writers are Gail Simone, Grant Morrison, Dan Jurgens and Joss Whedon.

My favourite artists are Michael Turner, Marc Silvestri, Jim Lee, Dan Jurgens and Nicola Scott. Nicola's art in Birds of Prey #100 was excellent!
