Hi,

I am an industrial designer and comic artist currently living in Toronto, Canada. I graduated from the bachelor’s program in Industrial Design at Istanbul’s Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 1997. In 2002, I graduated from the Drawing Comics and Development Diploma Program at Bilgi University’s Fine Arts Academy, where I had the opportunity to work with instructors such as Galip Tekin, one of the most respected comic artists in Europe.

My studio in Toronto provides graphic, comic and concept art services to advertising and comic markets.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you since my initial posting. Things are still more hectic than I expected; I'm working on final projects and final exams at college, graduation is coming up, and I'm finishing up on figuring out what will happen after college (I'm trying for grad school at the moment). I still have tons of ideas sprouting, but at the moment, nothing tangible enough to go forward. When I have it, I'll link you to a post of mine over at dimestore's forum (I won't have every single detail listed, of course, but the important parts for things at the present will be there).

Hi, thanks for dropping me a message :)

Actually, I have just started to colour a brand new 6 issues mini series. I guess it will occupy me for a while. Please keep in touch. I wish you the best luck for your college exams.

Cheers,

Serhan

Thank you for the kind words Jesus. I mostly use Corel Painter and Photoshop for my digital illustrations. Skin shader and texture is the most difficult one indeed. It has many variable parameters depend on the conditions and environment.
