About Me

Nate is a 33 year old independent cartoonist living in Dallas, Texas. In early 2005 he started the online webcomic news portal, and online audio show, Digital Strips with his friend and partner "Daku". After the success of the audio show helped in getting some of his cartoons published in some small webcomic related books and publications he left Digital Strips in the middle of 2006 to pursue his own cartooning endeavors. Since then he has self published several of his own comic books for sale online and during comic book convention appearances.

Nate is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia and has taken several drawing and illustration classes at the University of the Arts, also in Philadelphia. He is a one time member of the Tom's River Artists' Guild in New Jersey and at one point, during high school, a winner in the Scholastic Arts Competition.

Soon after graduation from AIPH in 1995 Nate started work as a graphics designer at a small video gaming company based in Bensalem, PA. From there he went on to work in various internet related firms in web site design and marketing illustration work.

The sketch group I go to weekly has over 40 members and one weekend they all headed to Austin to join with the Austin sketch group for one massive sketch-o-rama. It's a blast.
