Hey folks! Sorry the update is a few days late. Things are craaaaazy! Let’s rock it out:

NEW PRO FONT – BLAMBOT FXPRO BB

If you’re going to buy just one sound effects font this year..this is your set! FXPRO is made to suit your every need, from big giant, all-caps “BOOMS” to teeny, tiny, lowercase “tinkles”! I’ll be using this one a lot in upcoming Marvel books. It comes with Light (w/ lowercase), Light Italic, Heavy (all caps) and Heavy Italic with a ginormous compliment of European characters.

Once around the block just wasn’t good enough for this ol’ workhorse! I dragged it out of the barn, beat it into submission and re-hand-lettered it for a more organic look with even BETTER legibility online and in print. Comes with regular, Italic and Bold, just like the original…only BETTER!

EISNERS
It figures, the year I miss going to San Diego Comic Con, two of the books I worked on win Eisners ( UMBRELLA ACADEMY for best Limited Series and SUGARSHOCK for best web comic). That’ll teach me.

Yeah, that’s right! I salute myself! You know why? Because I need a break. So from August 7th to the 17th, the Blambot office will be closed as I journey through Europe like a hobbit through Middle Earth. (Tolkein analogies…I really DO need a vacation…)
