Needham
Hi, I'm Needham.
I am a Comic Artist trying to break into the industry. I went to an art college where I majored in animation. I love both comics and animation. I love drawing with with a pencil and paper. My favorite artists? Too many to count them all, but I'll mention a few. I love Ed McGuinness' art, Alex Ross, Kevin Maguire, Steve Rude, Carlos Pacheco, Timm Sale, Bruce Timm, Darwyn Cooke, Alan Davis, Mike Allred, John Cassidy, I'm also a big fan of Ryan Ottley, Mike Kunkel, Jim Lee, Neal Adams, Of coarse I love Jack Kirby's art, any Kirby art is great. I also love Will Eisner's work too. And Joe Kubert and his sons. And far too many to mention right now. Perhaps later. I am currently reading Red Hulk, and various other comics I can't think of at the moment. I have started reading many graphic novels like Eisner's "Life in Pictures." Its a wonderful sort of biography of his life done through comic pages. I have also started reading Kirby's 4th World, and a few other books that I haven't finished. I have finished Kingdom Come, Long Halloween, Green Lantern Rebirth, New Frontier, Avengers: Earth Mightest Heroes, and others. Lately I haven't had much time to read though. I love almost anything animated or superhero related, but I love the Simpsons. Its such a great show, it could go on forever as far as I care. I try to make my characters animated, and have lively expressions. My biggest dream is just do draw comics and get paid for it. I love to draw and nothing would make me happier. |
