I'm a freelance writer/graphic artist, creating comic books, storyboards, illustrations, logos, posters, CD covers, and portraits. I work with conventional media (pencil, ink, watercolour, gouache, acrylic, oils) and computer media. (Photoshop and Illustrator)

As the work in the galleries demonstrate, I draw in a variety of styles from cartoony to realistic, clear-line to expressionistic. I try to suit my writing and drawing style to the story.

I've created many public education comics for various Federal, Territorial, and municipal government agencies. Titles include: Super Shamou, True North, and Arctic Comics.

In addition to educational comics, I've done colour work for Marvel and written scripts for DC/Vertigo, Humanoids, Kitchen Sink, and Captain Canuck.

I’ve also taught drawing and pen and ink illustration, and lectured on comics and storyboarding to high school, college, and university students.
