I write, draw, produce, and do everything else for a The Adventures of Dat Williams. It's a character drivien sci/fi and horror comic book. For being sci-fi and horror, it's a very emotive work. I call it moral-fiction, because its more about exploring morality, psychology and identity using sci-fi devices, rather than the potentials of material science or sci-fi essays reducing psychology to anatomy. A review from Broken Pencil on issue #1 said "Dat Williams' vintage feel and tantalizing cliffhanger are evocative of classic Flash Gordon, except loaded with irony... Can't Wait (for next issue)." Comicsbulletin.com said "...genuinely absorbing story line ... this Sci Fi Horror tale is great." I now post a weekly update at the site, you can point to it directly at www.whiteandblackbook.com

Loved issue #3! And that page that you've put on the t-shirts is spectacular. |

hi there, thanks for the add and your interest in my comic! as for your question... i have not noticed people being more comfortable using animalized characters when dealing with homosexuality in their stories, in fact i have seen plenty involving humans. so i guess i don't really have an answer to your question... sorry! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on January 24th, 2007 12:12 PM ]

I really like your hatching on your nine lives. It has a lot of depth and texture. |
