There's a good chance we'll be at this year's Wizard World Texas. How 'bout yourself? |

I'm going to be at Staple!, a fairly new convention here in austin. I believe this is the 3rd ever. I'll probably try to be at Wizard World, but I haven't made plans for it.
Staple is nice because its indy focused. |

Yeah, we've heard of the Staple Con, but haven't had the pleasure of attending yet. Hopefully we'll see you at Wizard. |

Hey man, I got your Walking Man comic at Staple in Austin last year. It was really good, appealing to a sensitive and existential beauty. |

I'm really impressed with how prolific you are and with so many different artists. 3 Replies [ Latest posted on December 26th, 2006 2:50 PM ]

Thanks Library. I like your work too. I think you and I have similar styles in concieving stories, or at least in one regard. We like a 'punch-line' at the end, a left hook people don't see coming, yet for the reader, in hindsight, is there to be had. It also shows we like to understand our stories front to back before we compose them.
Do you go to conventions and sell your stuff? I haven't done that yet, but as I get more material down, I intend to. |

Ha, that's exactly how I think of it, actually. Most of short stories I've done are in what I'd describe as joke form; set up and punchline.

Yes and no.
I do go to conventions, but generally I just give stuff away rather then selling it. |

You have a lot of nice, wild, energetic and violent pencils. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on December 20th, 2006 3:49 PM ]
