Well, it's safe to say that now at the age of 45, I will probably NOT EVER work in the comics industry. But that's okay...no deadline pressures or editorial control over my projects(no cash either)! I rarely read any mainstream comics anymore, after years of being a SERIOUS comics collector. Of late however, I have submitted a couple of adventure strips to the newspaper syndicates...to no avail!!
I hope to use this site as a springboard for some of my original comics and concepts to find a larger audience. I am currently doing a home-study course in Desktop Publishing...hope to combine those new skills with my love of cartooning and character design to jumpstart a freelance career. If anyone out there is already doing this, or attempting to, please show me some love and send me some tips!
