Ron Kollgaard (as AnteriorLobe) is a staff cartoonist and contributing columnist at Renderosity and the creator of Non-Canonical. For more exciting biographical details check out his Renderosity home page or boring blog: anteriorlobe at LiveJournal.Non-Canonical is a weekly, 3D webcomic about the adventures of Victoria and her dinosaur pal Gallimimus as they try to run a low-budget TV station while dodging temporal rifts, rampaging robotic fish and the plots of Evil Vicky. Non-Canonical is a comedy with an absurdist twist, where the presence of talking dinosaurs is taken in stride, and the occasional trip to transdimensional space is primarily an annoyance. Peculiar references to such esoteric topics as the Marcomanni Kingdom and Cthulu float about in the background for those few (if any) who notice. Non-Canonical is rendered DAZ Studio and Bryce.Non-Canonical: Out Takes is a collection of imaged rendered to larger sizes than the panels used in Non-Canonical. That's pretty much it, no plot, but more details. Out Takes includes both renders from Non-Canonical and miscellaneous extra scenes.

I wanted to take some time in this new year to thank you folks for your support of me and my little comic strip Town Called Dobson. We crossed the 500th Strip threshold this past year, got printed in some great independent newspapers, got to show off how I create TCD at Adobe over the summer and the continued presence in the blogosphere is always a blessing. Without your support, readership and emails, TCD would never have made it so long. It is with the deepest heart I thank you all. It is vital that progressive issues are represented in editorial cartooning, especially in these days of dwindling news readership.
Your consistent support and strip devotion has earned Town Called Dobson a 2008 Weblog Award Nomination for Best Webcomic. I am stunned to be nominated and I am sure Karl Rove was secretly working behind the scenes to kill the nomination off, but "Hope" wins again! |

Great set. Are you doing any advertising to support your stuff? It deserves to be seen by more people. |

Hi, how are you? Our studio recently put a new site up. pencily.com is a great source of inspiration for illustrators, animators and designers, so I hope you find it as useful as we do!
All the best,

The Wraith #1 available to buy from new printer
The Wraith #1, the 44-page extravaganza comic book, which first premiered back in April this year, is newly available from our new printer, and the vast improvement in quality is there for all to see. Here's the promotional blurb for the issue. I urge everyone here interested in fine, independent comics, to give this one a go.

Thanks for the add. To echo others' sentiments, your 3D art's great. I like the combination. And I have to agree. Laziness is a universal (and dimensional) constant. ;)
