When Alan asked me what I wanted for the cover, I mentioned how much I loved his covers for Excalibur, especially the humorous ones. I also thought it would be nice to somehow incorporate the first character he drew professionally, Captain Britain, with the character he was currently working on, Killraven. Definitely a challenge, but Alan came up with a great solution, and this remains one of my favorite covers in the series.
