Thanks man, been working on my digital rendering. You could teach me a thing or two in that arena, great work. Keep in touch.

Wow that's incredible! I use CS, but painting and rendering wise, I am nowhere near close to your level, that's killer. I must know how you do that.

Hehe these are all things I am aware of..I have been drawing everyday just about since I was two, and went to school for graphic design for two years..but you have refreshed my memory on diffused/secular light..light and gradation is a tough thing to master..very good advice though my friend. I guess I shall start playing around with colour and whatnot in PS as far as painting goes..may I ask what program you use to paint your peces?

I do everything in Photoshop CS2, drawing, inking, painting all on the computer. So long as there is electricity I'm good to go.

Thanks I realy appreciate it! Check out my sketches when you have time, tell me what you think. I noticed your inking and rendering skills are superb, maybe you could teach me a thing or two. I can draw just about anuything with pencils, but my inking and colouring skills are nearly nonexistant. Anyway, take care and thanks again

Hmmm what can I teach. Fist off draw all the time, seriously do it daily even if its just 30 min a day just make it a daily routine. Take drawing classes, you want to learn how to draw figures quickly like a whole figure in 5 minutes, drawing from life is a very useful skill. Painting, I'm still learning how to do that, seriously, but you have to know how light works or behaves, like the two most distinct behaviors are diffuse light vs specular light. I've been spending a lot of time working with gray values just to get used to working with tones and gradients. But there are no real rules to art, cuz it can be anything you want it to be, so the best advice is to draw or paint all the time and pursue your interests!
