Hey Renae,
I tried my best to meet you last year at HeroesCon. I hope you will be there this year because I really would like to have autographed copies of Rogue Angel. Your art in issue #1 was good, but issue #2 just blew me away. The cave scenes were just otherworldly. I like the way you have drawn the chracters in a style that borderlines an animated feel with a realistic substance. Did that make sense? Anyway, were I still reviewing, Rogue Angel would be at the top of my review list. Once I get Blogging again I know it will be posted about. Keep up the good work.

Heard on the Around Comics Podcast about the Rogue Angel work for IDW. When does it come out?

Saw where you made the CBR photo article about the female presence at conventions. Awesome Black Canary costume.

What up with your redesign? I am going to periodically post a comment and just see how long before you notice. CS seems neglected a bit dude.

Goodbye Mike. You were more than a great artist, you were a great professional that always treated fans well.

Your absence at HeroesCon will be HUGE.

No Comments! Well you heard about my old shop right? I jumped ship before the iceburg hit. My new shop has seen increased traffic. Oh, how nice it was to be handed my books and everything was there, especially Buffy.

Tag u r it dude.

By the bye, I think I am dropping Amazing Spider-Man soon. Then probably Nova as well. That will mean no Marvel on the pull list, you know the underlying heaviness of these two potential drops.

Hope you had a good time in Charlotte and a safe trip home. I wish I had been in a better frame of mind when meeting you instead of feeling rushed. The Legacy cards for DC looked awesome.

I will miss you on BoP. You have constantly delivered a great read since you started, been there all the way. I almost wish it was possible for you to write both, but I realize that Wonder Woman needs a focus that would not be served well by dividing attention between the two. I started with Wonder Woman during the "Sacrifice" Story and have been reading since. I have watched the missed oppurtunity with the character. I know that you will bring the main thing that has been needed on the book, consistancy. Your work ethic shows in how you have provided BoP in a timely manner and with outstanding tales of action, emotion, and life. Show the "boys club" how to make Wonder Woman the top icon she desevres to be. (I meant no desrespect by the term "boys club" so please accept it as a state of comics and not derogatory.)

Just so everyone knows, I hated Civil War. Issue #7 was only the second comicbook story to ever leave me feeling sick to my stomach. I am kinda hating Marvel right now. I really just do not see the characters and stories I loved for years. And the fact that Cap was destroyed and the ideals he stood for crapped upon really stinks, probably due to all the crap.

Hey man,
Watch out fo rthe warpigs! Seriously I am glad you are doing Weekly Jackson on a regular basis. It has been the best thing you ever came up with over the years and site and blogs. It has been quiet since you gave up the cell, but I can get through the big TV shows 8].

Take care.

Hey! Thanks. I'm having a good time doing "Weekly Jackson" each week. I've considered doing a "podcast" version of it, but... who knows.

Me too on the Civil War illness. I fear for my Marvel U.

I am not a variant/alternate cover person, but I will be so tempted to try and get this one. You are just awesome. I am so glad you are on B0P as well. Loved the interview with Gail at Newsarama.

Nice to see a Tigra that looks like more than a Maxim Mag girls. This would really be a nice look for a Marvel Kids comic.

Thanks for the add.

Hey Gail,

I was surfing a bit and saw a statement about you "begging" to write Supergirl. While I think this would be awesome, I wondered if you could comment. I know it would be wonderful and you would always be open and the other polite things that would not get you in hot water at work, but is there a bit of truth if you could coyly answer?

Plus, thanks for answering my ? at Newsarama.

Wha...?

When did I 'beg' to write Supergirl?

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're asking...

Loved the first podcast I listened to and am eagerly awaiting your next episode. You have the least "geek" in your discussions. You give the community a bit of class and intellectual standing in the way you presnt your discussions. Thanks for that. I realize that the more pure "guys in a comicshop" rambling starts to bug me tremedously. So hearing a more measured and clear commentary is so nice.

Thanks for adding me.

Great series of interviews at Newsarama. I am looking forward to your last 2. I tried to put something good in the mix. TheMadMonk is my userid there, but I really just want to see what others thought up.

Keep up the Great Work!!!!!

Awesome work. Really like the Electra piece. Cool Fairy work with the glowing purple. It glowed, yet you could still clearly see the figure of the Fairy. Just great.

Read BoP #102 today. LOVED IT! If anything you are amping it up even more. I read on some podcasting nes site a statement about how even though you are under the radar somewhat when discussions are brought up about DC, that you are of as much importance to the health and vitality of the DC line as Johns, Rucka, or, fill in the rest of 52's roundtable. Didn't know if you had heard.

I have Gen 13 #4. Will read it later. You have captured online creepiness almost to a "T" in terms of the webcam stuff. The writing intrigues and disturbs at the same time. If I were still reviewing, I would have a hard time pegging down my feelings.

Keep up the good work!

Howdy Rich! Hope you are doing well. Love the column. While I am here, is it true they are killing Cap as the new ending to Civil War? Just kidding, but the killing Cap and replacing Bicky was the spec at the shop today. Have a great day!

Yeah, I have not been doing the "thanks for the ad" stuff. I went through one night and just asked people that caught my eye. You of course write a Blog I read regularly. So I tapped the keys and asked to be a friend.

I am not sure about the whole thing either. It is a nice idea. Blogging is more fun to me though.
