Hi, how are you? Our studio recently put a new site up. pencily.com is a great source of inspiration for illustrators, animators and designers, so I hope you find it as useful as we do!

All the best,

Kyri Kyprianou

That piece on Picasso is BRILLIANT! I LOVE IT! That's EXACTLY MY ATTITUDE TO THE FOOLS we Artist often encounter. They try to play us cheap. No other form of professional receives the level of cheapening that artist (esp. Visual) do. It's rediculous. Do you ask a doctor for a cheap surgery? Why ask a PRO artist for a cheap work of ORIGINAL art that will enhance your life forever! Get what you are worth ARTIST!
Word UP!

I dug "That Hollow Music". Severe, lonesome, brief. The sliced line work complemented the story nicely. Like what I always wished a Wolverine story would be like.

Strolling along a street in Paris one sunny day, who did a woman happen to see sketching at a sidewalk cafe but the already quite famous Pablo Picasso! She couldn't resist the urge to approach the master to ask whether he would do a quick portrait of her, and charge accordingly.

To her amazement, the artist obliged and immediately set to work. In just two minutes, she was handed her portrait: an original Picasso! "How much do I owe you?" the woman asked.

"Five thousand francs, Madame," Picasso replied.

"Five thousand francs?" the woman repeated, in suggested protest. "But it only took you two minutes to make the sketch.

"No, Madame," Picasso responded. "It took me my whole life."
