Hi. I like various comics. I hope you do too!

I like to know what other people are reading, so I'll return the favor, whether you want it or not: Daredevil, Immortal Iron Fist, Justice Society of America, and Flash are the books I will buy up right away. I've been catching up on back issues of Birds of Prey, Checkmate, Aquaman, JSA, and Robin.

Favorites:

Writers: WAID, Johns, Chuck Dixon, Sean McKeever, Brubaker, Simone

Artists: McGuinness, Ivan Reis, Kuberts (any), Wieringo, Alex Ross, Brian Bolland, Tom Grummett, Mandrake, Howard Porter, Tony Daniel, J. Califoire (spelling?)

- I have the distinguished honor of being the only member of comicspace to have the user tag of "dudical."

Mine's the same name I have here. I'm generally hanging around Talk@ runnin' my mouth about geeky stuff. See ya there hopefully.

You're welcome.

There were some things I definitely didn't agree with in terms of how things were run, but overall it's not an experience I would trade for anything in the world. The good and the bad. It makes for some great stories and I met some great people.

Good question. I'm going to have to take the easy way out and say definitely neither. Haha.

I think I'd rather Cap become US Agent in the costume he wore in Force Works, if that gives you any idea of how stupid either choice sounds to me.

Thanks for the add man. I agree that there shouldn't be swearing in comics. It seems they use swearing, as well as poorly written violence, gore, and lude sexual content as a means to get idiots into comics these days.

You nailed it on the head! I just read Manhunter #2 from DC today and I thought it was an intriguing concept, a single mother anti-hero who had just decided to fight baddies, but every other charater was swearing or saying something lewd. I only paid a buck for it though, so I'm not too attached.

I tend to agree with you about the swearing...!

Thanks, not many people see it the the same way. I think swearing is a lame device writers use to make a story seem more relatable, but it just makes me think they're putting themselves in the story too much.

thanks for checking out my webcomic. did you happen to check out the gallery area? there are couple of commissioned Spider-man portaitures that I've done that you might like :)

Thanks.

When it comes to "Familiar Circle", lots of people feel that the Family Circus is not funny, so many in fact, that stating so has become one of the most hackneyed statements possible. When I found one such strip particularly without joke, I meerly shot the strip verbatim (words and pictures), with of course the addition of my own visage as I am prone to do.

Sorry about all these words.

David

Words are good when it comes to these types of sites. Yeah, Family Circus can be a head scratcher sometimes, but it can be funny.
