Hey, I'm Pat Shatner, writer of the now defunct comic strip The New Scum which was published on the web and in Washington State University's newspaper The Daily Evergreen.
We hope to bring the strip back again, the artist is currently retooling his style and getting back in practice.

I've read comic books since the age of 10, got my first American comic on the way through emigration in New York, and have been hooked ever since.

Currently I'm finishing up an English degree at WSU and working on an anthology of short stories. I have no idea where I'll go from here but I'm happy as long as it's not the streets.

And like eleventy billion other people on comicspace, I'm a member of the Bendis board.- Bendis' den of shenanigans and debauchery

The now defunct comic strip, The New Scum, ran in Washington State University's The Daily Evergreen from 2005-2006.

Written by Pat McDonnell, with art by Wade Zarosinkski. Shameless stoner humor with just a dash of social commentary.

I know that seems like a strange, random question, but I make the signs so I thought I would ask. :) See you around the campus, you'll know me by the empty look that can only be attained by working for this soul-sucking, cougar-loving institute of higher education. (Just kidding of course, it not a bad place to work.)
